Stacie Bates and her husband Lee met in the Music Department at Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. The Bates family boast three children - Noah, Benjamin and Kennedy. Stacie is a former elementary school music teacher and currently assists in our Worship ministry. She met Jesus at the tender age of four in her mother's bedroom.

Stewart Linthicum has been a great asset as our Creative Worship Assistant. Having graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2011, he is continuing to develop his skills as a photographer and graphic designer. Stewart's creativity and computer skills help to keep our worship experience fresh and exciting.

It's a big job to keep the financial office in order, and our Financial Coordinator does an outstanding job. Susan Rasinski came in April 2011 with many years of experience and expertise, having previously been the bookkeeper and office manager for a civil engineering firm. She has one daughter, Laura. Susan met Jesus in 1987. She says, "At the age of 24, God used a song on the radio to break through my sin to call me to Himself." Susan's desire is to encourage each brother or sister in Christ to work and minister within their gifts.

Megan Robert has been a Ministry Assistant at First Baptist since February of 2006 and is an invaluable member of our staff. Megan, whose daughter, Elise is 5 years old, is a graduate of UNM, working toward a career in Community Health Education.
